Dreams

"A dream is a wish your heart makes, when you're fast asleep"

I have been having very vivid dreams lately. Some people make fun of me because of my ability to remember specific details about my dreams. I think it is a wonderful gift. (unless it is my monthly rattlesnake dream) I have been pondering the above statement....a dream is a wish your heart makes, when you're fast asleep. I think that is true....sometimes. Some of my favorite dreams have included:

The dream where a man named Wally came to me dressed in cowboy boots and told me that I was pregnant and going to have a baby boy. (I found out two days later I was pregnant with Connor)

Sitting at a picnic table with my deceased grandfather having a conversation about my life and my sister Kayce. He warned me that my sister was in danger (I found out two days later she was in fact making some choices in her life that were dangerous)

My bimonthly dream where I see my beloved grandma and she hugs me and laughs.

Some of my not so favorite dreams:

My monthly rattlesnake dream. I dream ALL the time about rattlesnakes biting me. They are EVERYWHERE! Hanging from trees and on the floor and they are biting me and I have to pull them off me.

When I was a child, I would have a dream all the time that the evening news was on and reported that Giants had invaded the world. All of a sudden a big hand would come through the window and grab me. (I must have been a weird child)

Any dream where I am back in high school.

Any dream that my children are being hurt, separated from me, or in trouble.

So, I had a dream last night that I was standing on a stage singing for a large crowd of people. I am trying to decide if that falls under a good dream or a bad dream. I would say it could be considered a bad dream because I am EXTREMELY shy and would pass out if I had to sing for a large crowd of people. It could be good because maybe it is my hearts way of telling me to let go of my inhibitions and open up without hesitations or fear????

I looked up the meaning of some of my dreams online and this is what I found:
Singing:Your dream is expressing your current feelings. The nature of the music and the words of the song may say something about you and your situation.
Rattlesnakes:To see a rattlesnake in your dream, represents the passage of time. (the fact they are attacking me in the dream makes me think that maybe I have issues with the way time has passed in my life??)
Giants:To see a giant in your dream, indicates a great struggle between you and your opponents. You are trying to overcome an overwhelming obstacle. Alternatively, a giant symbolizes an issue, a person or a feeling that is dominating you. You are having an inferiority complex. (That makes sense, I think my parents were the Giant squeezing me and overpowering me HAHAHA)

Right now, I think I could do without dreaming. I am having one of those times in my life where I don't want my heart to talk to me while I'm sleeping. I just want to sleep oblivious.
