This is what a typical Monday that I have a test looks like:
7:00 AM Hear the children. Roll over and pretend that I am comatose until they rip the blankets off my sorry head and demand "Waffles!"
7:30 AM Make waffles and try to think of something other than the doom of 5 PM when that test is handed out.
8:00 AM Start trying to remember the knowledge that I have stored in my head for the test and immediately start having anxiety because it is a messy jumble of information that I cannot connect together
8:30 AM Begin cleaning the house like crazy because I cannot think about the test anymore
9:30 AM Finish cleaning and begin thinking about the test again so I start scrubbing the grout in between the tiles on the floor to take my mind off it
10:30 AM Tiles are so clean you can eat dinner off them.......Shoot, thoughts of the test again.....call non-school friend and begin chatting about children.
11:30 Finish calling all friends. Start vacuuming the crumbs out of the drawers..........
12:00 LUNCH TIME!
1:00 PM My nerves are shot. I am exhausted from cleaning. Must sleep and have nightmares about test
3:30 PM Jaxson is awake!!! this means I am awake
4:00 PM Rush to get ready for the test. (you know, that test I am trying hard to forget)
5:00 PM The dreaded test! I look like a deer in the headlights. I take the test and then spend the rest of the evening having anxiety. I pay little attention to lecture and feel like I have run a marathon.
9:00 PM Take my anti-anxiety medication and sedate myself to sleep......the day is finally over
