I have never made a pie before and something inspired me today to make an apple pie with raspberries. Rolling out the dough was my favorite part. I used my grandma's rolling pin and imagined her hands on the handles exactly where I had mine.
I had to make it a girly pie so I added some hearts because I made this pie with LOVE
Salad and chicken noodle soup for dinner. It was something that all the kids would actually eat and easy to make.
Carter liked the pie. He was trying hard to lick all the raspberries off his lips. Connor and Jaxson are pretending that they didn't put up a fight to eat vegetables. Once they tried them, they found they enjoyed them. I can't do alot of things in my life right now that I want to do but I can cook and there is a certain peace that comes with making something delicious.
