Palm Sunday and the weather is overcast but still. I have been reading with the kids about the final days of jesus' life. I can't imagine how the mood must have been watching Jesus ride in on his donkey to his certain death. I have been keeping a journal about all the acts of service and miracles Jesus performed during his life and also the unkind things that happened to him. It has been such an example to me that even someone asx wonderful as Jesus had enemies and those who hated him. My favorite hymn at church says "that for me a sinner, he suffered and bled and died". Last night after Connor and Jaxson went to bed I was lying in bed with Carter and I said, "its time to say prayer" and he said "my turn" and he folded his arms and closed his eyes and said "thanks today. thanks sleep. amen" It was so touching to hear his little prayer. He is always so proud to be independent. I asked him for a big hug and we layed there and ended up falling asleep. My arm was numb and tingling in the morning from his head being on it all night but I cherish this time right now when he is small enough to want to stay in my arms.
