My history teacher told this last night, and I just LOVED it......

Long ago, Satan gathered three of his smartest devils together. He explained to them that the census in hell was low and wanted them to come up with a plan to bring more souls to hell. He gave them some time to think and then called the first devil to him.

Satan: Did you come up with a plan?

Devil 1: Yes, I will go to earth and convince everyone that there is no God

Satan: What? that is your idea? that is terrible. They will never believe you because they will see the night change to day, the flower grow from a seed, and the human body take a breath.

So, Satan called his Second Devil to hear his plan.

Satan: Did you come up with a plan?

Devil 2: Oh, it is wonderful. I will go to earth and tell everyone that the world is coming to an end. There will be turmoil and chaos and people will start to sin.

Satan: That idea will never work.

Satan is now VERY frustrated but feeling hopeful because Devil 3 is his smartest.

Satan: Please tell me you have a better idea than the other two.

Devil 3: I do. It is so simple. We really don't have to do much at all. This generation is wicked with sin. Lying, stealing, cheating, immoral. All I need to do is go to earth and convince them that they have plenty of time. Convince them to live for the moment and not worry about tomorrow. Convince them that they have plenty of time. They will laugh, they will live in the moment and sin not realizing that they do not have time. Before they know it, it will be over and we will have captured many souls in hell.

Curious story coming from a History teacher, I know. I loved it because it made me realize that time is precious. You never know when your time will come and I want to leave this world a good person. I want to be remembered as a good person. Anyhoo, that is my thought for the day......Enjoy and beware of Satan, see how sneaky he can be!!
