Here's the scoop, we have no air conditioning. And the rain has finally stopped so that means the sun is shining and we have no air conditioning. I have no idea how the pioneers did it.

My summer class is going great. I have a wonderful teacher that not only teaches the material with his whole heart and soul but he has a sense of humor! When you are sitting for three nights a week for 3 hours straight, you need some humor. This will be my final class for my associates degree. Only two more semesters and I will become a REGISTERED NURSE! I can't wait. I went into this class convinced that evolution was just a theory ( a bad, bad theory) but I have to admit that I am a little convinced. I really believe that the Bible and evolution can co-exist. I NEVER imagined that I would be interested in history because my experience with history has always been U.S history but I am really enjoying World Civ. I want to go to Egypt and Nubia and see the pyramids!

Connor has 4 loose teeth. I took him to the dentist this week and his teeth are just ready to come out. They are all on the bottom so in a few weeks he will have no teeth on the bottom jaw and a full set on the top. LOL,LOL Jade does not like pulling teeth out so he has convinced Connor to wait until they just come out on their own, and that sounds like a great plan to me BUT his adult teeth are coming in at a fast rate and with the baby teeth still in, they are coming up in the wrong places. I am currently bribing Connor to wiggle those teeth out. I do NOT want to pull them out either. I hate the feeling.

Jaxson has decided after a month of using the toilet that he wants to wear diapers again. So, we are back in diapers. He never had potty training down 100% so I am ok with him regressing.

So, I am curious to hear what you all think about evolution?????

I think evolution is just a theory - with many imperfections. There are just too many logical leaps left unanswered without faith in the theory. But people say the same thing about creationism.

So I believe that God created the earth, and we don't know the specifics of how it works. Maybe God used organic methods to grow his creation. And who is to say that 1 Day in Genesis is 24 hrs? We don't know, and it's unlikely that man will ever know the truth of history without actually living it. Unless, of course, he learns it from a higher source.

Philosophical enough already? I thought so.

Let's not confuse evolution with Natural Selection. (yes, caps use was intentional)

Natural Selection, where nature continually selects the best to continue to propagate the species, is clearly evident around us, and reflects in every race, even the human. Not theory, fact.

Evolution, however, is far from fact. Taking abnormal skeletons and piecing them together to form a pipe dream is irresponsible, and is just unproven leaps in scientific methedology.

For every single fact the dig up, I can disprove with recent findings that throw their ideas off.

I'll be happy to continue the discussion, but please clarify which part we're talking about.
